Students
Jared Bryan
Jared Bryan is an undergraduate Physics and Geology student at Utah State University, currently interning with Alexander Breuer at the San Diego Supercomputer Center. His internship is part of the Southern California Earthquake Center Summer of Undergraduate Research Experience (SCEC-SURE). His project is focussed on using deep learning to locate fault ruptures in topographically and geologically realistic domains.
David Lenz
David Lenz is a PhD student in the Department of Mathematics and member of the Computational Science, Mathematics, and Engineering (CSME) Program at UCSD. His current research interests are in finite element methods for time-dependent PDEs, with an emphasis on parallel-in-time methods.
Justin Zhang
Justin Zhang is a high school student attending Canyon Crest Academy. His research studies the accuracy of lowered precision computations. Specifically, Justin focuses on small, dense or sparse matrix multiplication and it's relation to the optimization of high-performance computing.
